Prayer For Sadness
Oh Merciful Father, You who knows our innermost being, I come before You today with a heavy heart. Lord, the world around me feels dark and dreary, and I find myself in the depths of sadness. My spirit is low, and joy seems so distant. As David cried out in his time of distress, so I cry out to You, Lord, from the depths of my sorrow.
I know that You hear me, Lord. I know that You see my tears, and not one falls that You do not take notice. I trust in Your unfailing love and Your promise to be near to the brokenhearted. Even in my pain, I cling to Your promises.
Peaceful, Loving Father, I humbly ask that you heal this ache in my heart, Oh Lord. Allow me to find that joy that I once knew. The sadness of my heart consumes me. But I will not give in, for I am stronger than the mind games the devil tries to play on me.
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
Seeking God’s Comfort
Dear God, I need You now more than ever. This sadness seems to envelope me, casting a shadow over every part of my life. But I believe in Your Word, which promises me comfort and peace. I believe that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.
Pour out Your healing balm upon my soul, Lord. I need Your comfort, the kind that transcends human understanding. I need the peace that comes from knowing that even in my sorrow, You are with me.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles.
Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Hope for the Future
Even though I am hurt and the pain lingers on each day, I will not give up, for the battle is already won. This sad heart sickens my soul. These tears that hit my pillow at night longs to see happiness once more and I pray that You will open up a way for me.
Oh God of Hope, I lift my eyes to You. Even in my deepest despair, I have hope because You are in control. I have hope because I know that my present pain will not last forever, but joy comes in the morning.
I look forward to the future with hope, knowing that You hold it in Your hands. I trust in Your promises of a better tomorrow, a future filled with hope and peace. My heart may be sad today, but my spirit rejoices in the hope of Your salvation.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Psalm 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Cultivating A Heart Of Gratitude
Dear Heavenly Father, even as sadness fills my heart, I choose to give thanks. I am grateful for Your love, Your grace, and Your faithfulness. Even in this season of sorrow, I see Your hand at work. Every breath I take is a testament to Your sustaining grace.
Help me cultivate a heart of gratitude, Lord. Let my heart always find reasons to thank You, even when joy seems elusive. In every situation, I want to be able to say, “The Lord gives, and the Lord takes. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Give Me Strength To Overcome This Sadness
Sovereign Savior, my Gentle Jesus, my heart cries out to thee, Oh Lord, my God. Ease the hurt, relieve the pain, I release it unto You. These tears that fall and glisten, as the sun rises, long for that unspeakable joy they once knew.
I need You, Lord, now more than ever. This sadness in my heart craves to find that wonderful joy only You can give and that peace that passes all understanding. My heart cries out to You.
Dear Lord, I surrender my sorrow to You. I cast all my cares, all my pain, all my sadness on You, knowing that You care for me.
In my weakness, You are my strength. In my sorrow, You are my joy. I thank You for Your steadfast love that never ceases and Your mercies that are new every morning. Even in my sadness, I will trust in You. Give me strength, oh gentle Savior.
In Jesus’ name, love, joy, peace, and happiness will follow me wherever I go and this sadness within me will be destroyed, Amen and Amen!
Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

Father God, I bring my sister who has lost her husbsnd before you. Please ease the pain and loneliness which she is experiencing at this time. As she mourns her lost, give her the strength, joy and peace that only you can supply during this difficult time. In Jesus name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen
I will pray for her. I am sorry she has to go through this.
I am feeling sadness but don’t know why exactly. I feel I’ve slowly lost motivation. I have been blessed but I also feel that I’ve allowed life troubles to overwhelm. I want to feel happy and motivated and full of life like I was once like. Not just focus on issues or problems or what I could of done better. I pray that God can instill in me motivation and to live a fuller life.

Heavenly Father,
Today is one of those days that I cry, I hurt inside and I have no one to talk to but I know that God you are always there listening to my words and I thank you.
I cry as I write this and pray Lord Jesus that the burdens be lifted and the hurt be washed away. I pray throughout the day for many different things, including just your presence in my life.
I know God my prayers are heard and I just ask that you continue to help and protect my family and me as we go through our hurts and struggles.

Dear lord, please help me cause my daughter is blaming me for everything that is happening in her life. She is being attacked by evil spell with friends. But how come she is blaming me.
